会林文化基金 The Huilin Culture Foundation

黄会林“第三极文化”基金（简称“会林文化基金”）是以北京师范大学资深教授、中国文化国际传播研究院院长、“第三极文化”创立者黄会林先生命名的公益基金。宗旨是推动以“第三极文化”为理论基础的中国文化国际传播，着重于把“会林文化基金”打造成整合各种文化资源的重要窗口、引领公益文化教育事业发展的重要引擎，推动中国文化国际传播的重要平台，为中华文化的复兴做出应有的贡献。

基金设立的“会林文化奖”旨在表彰为中国文化的国际传播做出突出贡献的中外人士。作为集文化性与国际性于一体的学院奖，“会林文化奖”致力于打造中国文化国际传播高端话语平台，为投身中国文化国际传播事业的杰出人士镌刻丰碑，向世界展示底蕴深厚、丰富多样的中国文化。“会林文化奖”每年在全球范围内评选出中、外各一位获奖者，各奖励人民币30万元。该奖项至今已经成功举办八届，累计评选出十七位中外籍获奖人士，涵盖文学、历史、哲学、艺术等各个文化领域。

Huilin Foundation, short for Huang Huilin’s “Third Pole Culture” Foundation, is a non-profit foundation named after Huang Huilin, Professor Emeritus of Beijing Normal University, Dean of AICCC, and founder of “Third Pole Culture” with a mission for international communication of Chinese culture on the theoretical basis of the “Third Pole Culture”. Priorities are given to building the foundation into an important window integrating a diversity of cultural resources, a key engine in leading public cultural and educational development and an important platform for advancing Chinese culture’s international communication so as to make its due contributions to the cultural rejuvenation of China.

The “Huilin Prize” is established by the Huilin Foundation to recognize prominent contributions made by Chinese and non-Chinese individuals to promoting Chinese culture. As a scholarly prize of a cultural and international positioning, “Huilin Prize” aims to build a leading platform for the international communication of Chinese culture, recognizing excellence of personages devoted to promoting Chinese culture worldwide, and showcasing the profound and diverse Chinese culture per se to the world. The “Huilin Prize” is held annually and given to a Chinese and a non-Chinese winner each year, each receiving 300,000 CNY as reward. The prize has been held eight times, producing 17 winners home and abroad by now, who are from various cultural fields of study, such as literature, history, philosophy, fine arts, etc.
